Composers Without Borders

The new plat­form Com­posers With­out Bor­ders was launched with­in the fes­tiv­i­ties of the Nobel Peace Prize on Decem­ber 9th, 2022 in Oslo. Com­posers With­out Bor­ders is a call to do your piece for peace. — Music can open cor­ri­dors when all words have already come to an end. Musi­cians world­wide com­mu­ni­cate in a uni­ver­sal lan­guage – whether with a vio­lin in a Ukrain­ian sub­way sta­tion, play­ing an anthem ahead of a con­cert, build­ing choirs or radio sta­tions in refugee camps, bring­ing instru­ments to schools into coun­tries from glob­al South or by open­ing a stage for musi­cians in exile.
